Firm dark red covers with black lettering and decoration, a little faded on spine, sound binding with a slight skew, clean pages and plates. Stamps for Halifax Antiquarian Society and "Withdrawn" stamp on front end-papers and prelims. Pages of main text and plates (including reverse of plates) are free from stamps.
