Corners lightly rubbed, foxing to endpapers and occasionally in text, overall clean and binding is tight, a faint partially illegible "--- History Society" stamp on rear pastedown is only evidence of ex-library status, folding map ia age-toned and archival tape-mended on folds with tiny loss of image, an amusing 1860 newspaper clipping about West Point hazing is pasted to front free endpaper, a small notation written on front endpaper. A very good copy of this early and rare guidebook of the United States Military Academy.
