New York: The Merchants' Association of New York, 1906. 210 pages, 3 folding maps. Paper wrappers (stain to rear cover, chips to corners and at ends of spine). New York: The Merchants' Association of New York, 1906.

Scarce guide book with three folding maps. The first map included is a "Street and Distance Map", featuring a yellow and green checkered overlay on Manhattan and the Bronx, where each colored square represents one square mile. The second map in the guide book is a "Transportation Map", showing rail lines and connections to NJ, Brooklyn, and Queens. The "Hotel and Theater Map" extends from 90th Street to Battery Park. Shows the Subway line from 86th street station to South Ferry, as well as the Ninth, Sixth, and Third Avenue Elevated Railways. Stations, and connections to ferries and bridges are noted. An interesting map that omits much of the street grid while still providing sufficient information for a traveler to orient themselves. Hotels, theaters, and some other attractions are labeled. The book provides additional information on public offices, steamship lines, monuments and statues, parks, athletic fields, galleries and museums, seaside resorts, and more.
