Booklet complete with the original envelope! "Gum-Nut Babies by May Gibbs, Printed in Australia" printed in upper left hand corner of the envelope. Envelope very ruffled at edges. 8vo, color frontis, 56pp, unpaginated. Brown wood grain pictorial wraps, with color plate of cluster of fuzzy headed babies clinging to a cluster of leaves at front cover. Bound with gold cord. Previous owner name (E. L. Coles, Subiaco) on presentation page, title page slt dusty at upper edges; very small area of rippling to top edges of late pages. W. C. Penfold printer. Muir 2733.
