The Gun Seller *1st UK* by Hugh Laurie - First Edition - 1996 - from Partners & Crime Mystery Booksellers and Biblio.com

The Gun Seller *1st UK*

by Laurie, Hugh

Condition: Fine/Near Fine

London: Heinemann, 1996. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. First UK edition. Dust jacket has very slight edgewear, and a small amount of scratching on the front panel, visible only if you're looking for it. Author's only novel is a comic send-up of the superspy/007 genre, with teeth. Laurie (of House M.D. fame) worked on the screenplay for a film to be produced by an American company but it was delayed indefinitely because of the elements of terrorism in the plot. If it is ever made, Laurie says he might do a walk-on or cameo but does not envision being cast as the hapless hero. Great fun! All of our first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted. Dustwrappers are protected with clear archival wraps and we pack each book like it's a Tiffany egg.
