Each of these respective authors contributing several chapters under several titles, these are: The Shot-Gun and Its Handling, The Hunting Rifle, The Theory of Rifle-Shooting, The Pistil Revolver, The Artificial Fly. A varied work of shooting history by numerous authorities in the field. Edited by Caspar Whitney. Illustrated throughout with 3 colour plates and 20 black and white plates. Collated complete. Condition: In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally bumped to the head and tail of the spine, with a small amount of loss to the cloth. Heavy rubbing to the spine, joints and extremities. Repairs to both the front and rear joints. The front endpaper is detached but present, with the odd mark to the front and rear endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Lightly strained in places. Page are clean with the odd mark. Small tear to the half title page, towards the fore edge. Overall Condition: Good.
