Includes a 4-page "Carp's Gloss to Arkwright" which offers a key to interpreting the personalities chronicled in the Digest of a Journey Lately Undergone. It is speculated in the Gloss that this second edition was issued by Dawson's Book Shop to mark the retirement of H. Richard Archer from the Chapin Library of Williams College.
