New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1897. Dark green boards, titles in gold, gilt bust of pipe-smoking man on front, 137 numbered pages. Lightly frayed on ends of spine, rubbed along edges and on corners, previous owners' names in ink on ffep, cracked at ffep so front board somewhat loose but rest of binding firm. Smudge on page ix, else pages clean. Overall, very good. . Hard Cover. Very Good/No DJ. Illus. by Coburn, Frederick Simpson. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
