Book is attractive in blue cloth with bright gilt titles and decorations. Dust jacket is somewhat yellowed and soiled with minor chipping at the extremities and a 1/2 by 1-inch chip at the lower corner of the front panel. List of titles on dust jacket flap indicates that this copy was published in 1924, despite date of 1897 on copyright page and no additional printing listed. Uncommon in dust jacket. .
