Very good in three quarter red leather with gold stamping on the spine, marbled paper covered boards with marbled endpaper and edges, the leather is scuffed at the spine ends and corners with a couple of light scuff marks on the spines.

Moderate general wear with a bit of light spotting on the leather and a tiny split at the crown of Volume IV neatly strengthened, lacking one spine label, one with loss, and two eatly reattached, Volume II with a couple of leaves opened in the margin but not affecting text, a nicely bound, very good set.
