London: Daldy, Isbister & Co, 1877. 1st Edition. Original Cloth. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. xipp; 308pp; 32pp of adverts. A lovely copy of this book - probably first edition. Git embossed vignette to the front board of monkeys in the forest. Gilt embossed title block and vignette of birds to the spine. Illustrated throughout with numerous line drawings, including frontispiece with tissue guard. Light shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine and to the corners of the book. Slightest of soiling to the fore edges. Clean and tight. A well preserved copy of this antiquarian book.
