Advance reading copy stamped "Not For Resale" on top exterior edges. First edition, first printing with line V 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. Pages are clean. Binding is square and tight. Boards are clean. Text block is clean. Dust jacket is overall clean, no chips, tears, rubbing but there are 2 slight creases, one on inside front flap and one on back flap. Original price of 16.95 intact. Dust jacket is in a protective mylar cover. Will provide additional photos on request.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and has been awarded the Norwegian Order of Literary Merit and the French Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres among many others; she is a Foreign Honorary Member for Literature of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. She lives in Toronto.

A full refund of the purchase price, minus postage costs, will be provided if the seller is notified within 5 days of receipt and the book is returned within 10 days of receipt in the original condition. I prefer to ship international orders by air because of delays and other issues that can frequently occur. I will refund postage overages, after shipping and insurance costs are calculated and confirmed. I do not charge for packing materials or handling.
