New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1945. Hardcover. Decorated cloth over boards. Color illustrated endpapers. Ten color plates and many B&W illustrations by Cyrus Leroy Baldridge. Sewn binding. Very Good book / No jacket. Bookplate to verso of FFEP, otherwise interior pristine. Spine faded, but straight and tight, ends bumped. Not from a library. No remainder mark. xv+289 pages.

When a new friend gives Hans and his sister Gretel enough money for one pair of ice skates, Hans insists that Gretel enter the grand skating competition, while he approaches the great Doctor who consents to try to restore their father's memory.
