"This series of books are intended as a basic guide to the features and functions of the cameras listed within. Each book contains a step-by-step tour of the camera, along with photographs of each version and variation found by the author...." (intro) A bit of an outlyer as books on cameras go. It isn't a price guide, but more a summary marketing guide gleaned from the actual functions found on the cameras. In that way, useful for the user who is perhaps looking to purchase a camera herein listed. Illustrated. Index notes Asahi Pentax, Cannon, Honeywell, Leica, Pentax. This volume contains an interesting chart showing Total 35mm SLR Introductions by year from 1936-2002. Then broken down by major manufacturers. Scarce, with no copies listed for sale as of this writiig.
