Octavo, 7 1/4" tall, unpaginated (approx 40 pages) color illustrated throughout, color illustrated endpapers, black quarter-cloth over color illustrated boards. A very good minus over all, generally clean, neat hard cover with minor shelf wear BUT fore-corner tips rubbed through to boards, back strip cloth rubbed at top and bottom edges of the spine, light exterior soiling; binding tight, with a previous owner's gift inscription penned on the front endpaper cream lightly yellowed. Without dust jacket.

Back page has ad for other Sunny Books and say Your Children are Safe with Volland Books "It is the VOLLAND IDEAL that books should make children happy and build character unconsciously and should contain nothing to cause fright, suggest fear, glorify mischief, excuse malice or condone cruelty."PLEASE NOTE This edition has e signature showing printer registration issues (colors are not lined up, giving those children a disappearing ghostly appearance on affected pages). Bottom corners of cover are bumped and shelf worn. But overall clean and priced for condition.
