New York: Cassell & Company, Limited, 1886. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 256pp+ads. Illustrated chromolithograph covers and spine, black and white illustrations accompany text. Date on copyright page is 1883, but date on front illustration is 1886. Some chipping to spine ends and edges and light soil, but overall bright. Endpapers are foxed, neat inscription on front endpaper dated 1887. Contents are age-toned but are clean and appear to be unread, binding is sound. Wonderful colorful collage of various scenes of children and animals on cover and spine.
