James Nisbet & Co., London, 1880. Hardcover. Very Good. Second Edition, published a few months after the First Edition of the same year (1880). An interesting work on post services and communications in England. Condition: original green covers with elaborate gilt and black decorations and title; relatively minor wear to boards-mostly head and tail of spine; several small spots of foxing to page edges; pages mostly clean with very few spots of foxing; hinges a little weak; beautiful two-page engraving frontis.
