Set in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, and includes several black stereotyped characters, use of dialect, etc. Cover by Rudy Nappi. Lists to #41 on back cover and to #42 in list at front of book. Illustrated with a plain frontispiece and 5 internal drawings. Blue and white multi-scene endpapers. 184 pp.

Synopsis

When their detective father asks them to play burglar in order to protect a client's valuable invention from thieves, the Hardy boys find themselves involved in a large and dangerous conspiracy.
