About This Item

the Macmillan Company, New York, 1942. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Tabea Hoffman. A history book of herbs, with concise directions given for the growing and propagating of herbs, and even though the term is not used, for companion planting, harvesting and storing, and an unusual feature is the long section of delicious recipes using culinary herbs which have been tested and will add variety to many dishes. – Paraphrasing the front fold over blurb second-hand copy, price clipped dust jacket, slight shipping to the top edge of the dust jacket, some insect damage to the front panel near the top edge, the book itself had had the top edge tinted, and this has faded slightly to a pale orange. Internally clean, no annotations that I can see. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. X, 226, [4] pages. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Tabea Hoffman. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Gardening; Gardening – herbs; Cooking, Wine & Dining. Inventory No: 0279199. .
