About This Item
London: Headline, 1989. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO FAMILY MEMBERS. Page edges beginning to tan (due to the poor quality of paper used) otherwise a near fine copy in a D/W with just the merest hint of spine fade. Inscribed by the Author on the half-title page: "To Jessie and Joe,/ with love/ from/ Edith./ Ellis Peters,/ February 1989". Jessie Hodgson (nee Edward) was Ellis Peters' first cousin. Ellis Peters' real name was Edith Mary Pargeter. A superb Association Copy.
