The First UK Printing published by Jonathan Cape in 1975. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Light pushing at the upper spine end. The book appears unread and is free from inscriptions, erasures and markings. The black top-stain is still present. The WRAPPER is complete and retains the publisher's original price of £2.95 net to the front lower flap. Most wrappers appear on the market as clipped and it is scarce to find the wrapper with the original price intact with no overlay of the publisher's revised price. Tiny curl to the spine tips with light creasing to the upper spine end. A few spots to the edges on the verso but these do not show through to the front. Just a hint of toning to the wrapper but barely noticeable. The Craig Dodd wrapper artwork looks striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. The book has been Signed without dedication by the Author to the title page. In 2015, High-Rise was adapted into a dystopian thriller drama directed by Ben Wheatley, starring Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, and Elisabeth Moss.
