Cleveland and New York: The World Publishing Co., "First Printing August, 1945." 5 1/2" x 8 1/8", 240 pages, this book has its ORIGINAL UNCLIPPED DUST JACKET, with 'T-324' on the back. Condition of the book is VERY GOOD--blue stain to top of pages, hinges solid, only marks are former pricing on first ffe, pages (thin WWII paper) well tanned yet supple, no rips or tears. Cover has navy cloth boards with Tower Mystery Stamp and silver gilt particulars. Condition of ORIGINAL DUST JACKET (blue & yellow depicting man falling from window towards coins, scales of justice and a gun in a newspaper) is GOOD PLUS-- plastic protective cover over most of front only. 1/4" square torn off spine of jacket, chipping to top of entire jacket. Use this book to complete your mystery collection. Noted appraiser James Beattie has valued this book at $60.00!
