Adobe Press, 1977. Softcover. Good. A "vintage" hikers guide to the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, NM. This is quite an outdated guide for hiking in the Sandias, and is an interesting look at climbing and hiking nearly 50 years ago. These trails have been greatly improved since this was published, and it's possible that some of the trails in this book are no longer open. More than anything, this is a collectible book. The city of Albuquerque has grown in leaps and bounds, the streets at the base of the westside are now prolific. The map in the pocket at the rear is still present. Worn corners, darkening to edges of spine and front and rear wraps. One or two pages have been miscut and protrude outside the edge of text block. Bumped spine ends and has reading creases. Toning to pages. 138 pages.
