boston: samuel Walker, 1844. quarto- 11.5" x 9.5", 2.5" thick. Multi-volume in 1 book. Good condition, though light-heavy foxing present throughout, some pages also with shadowing. Binding is split on inside endpapers. Leather binding has wear to edges and some discoloration on covers. Bright gilding on cover edges and spine, overall tight binding. Filled with 36 early engravings of the United States and North America. It features images of natural attractions like Niagara Falls, as well as political portraits and images of architectural monuments.
