The lettering on the spine has faded - the lettering on the front cover is clear and bright. The book has light green cloth covers with sturdy paper and roughcut page fore-edges.<br>

Additionally, tipped in is the bookplate of the author of the Introduction, Robert Ernest Cowan (not sure if this is his copy, or if he supplied bookplates with copies of the books, or at least ones he gifted). Residue of a 1/2' square piece of tape, front pastedown. Enpapers age-toned. Tiny stain to upper edge of front cover. The only serious defect is age-toning to spine, esp, with the paper spine label, the lettering barely legible.

Spine yellowed, spine label no legible. Two bookplates originally tipped-in are laying loose inside, Robert Ernest Cowan and Library of the Southwest Museum. It appears another bookplate was originally on front pastedown (adhesive spots visible) but this one is not present. Pages yellowing, interior is clean. Sewn binding, un-trimmed side page edges.
