Binding sound and tight. Green cloth cover with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front. Previous owner's bookplate front pastedown. A very few pages only have very light marginal notes and marks in pencil. The top edge, which is tinted green, has a few marks from water drops which have carried the green tint onto a few pages. All in all, this is a very sound copy of this important work. ; frontis, drawings; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 605 pages .
