La Conner: The Author, [ca. 1965]. First edition. Quarto. Approximately 130 pp. with illustrations from photographs throughout. Mimeographed and in a three-hole soft binder. Very good. Anderson, a former teacher in La Conner, assembled this as a labor of love for his hometown. The school district was formed in 1873 and Anderson documents the history of the schools and the area and includes many copies from vintage photographs. Also includes short biographies of all La Conner teachers.
