About This Item
441 Pages.
This is a very old (1771) book in what looks like its original leather bindings about a man in the 17th-century Spanish Court and his adventures there.
The book's exterior is all leather and has worn areas on all edges and corners, along both verticle edges of the spine, and has some worn and darkened areas on both front and rear covers. On the spine itself, the leather is dried out and cracking and there is a piece at the very bottom that has been worn off of it. The interior book has past owners' names (including one from 1774) as well as other marks on the inside front and rear pages, foxing throughout the book, and light browning on all of the pages. This being said, however, the printing throughout the book has remained preserved and completely readable and the book is still completely attached to its cover and thus the bindings have not separated and are still tight and sound.
If you purchase this antique book from us, it will be carefully wrapped up, padded, and then boxed and shipped right away to you and will come with our genuine gratitude for your interest and your order.
