Historiated initials, engraved headpieces and tailpieces. Original brown cloth, faded, rubbed and marked. Gilt lettering to spine, gilt emblem to upper board. Original endpapers. 'Bound at the Guardian Office Warrington' plate to lower ep. Lightly toned to first few and last few pages.
The bordered engraved plates include: Bowdon Church 1858; Bowdon Parish Church Restored; Dunham Hall 1697; Carrington and Altrincham Scolds' Bridles; St Margaret's Church Dunham; Market Place Altrincham 1858; Brooks Bank Altrincham.
