New York: S. King, 1820. Undated, ca, 1820s. Children's chapbook illustrated with a charming primitive hand colored woodcut on each page with a verse below. Softcover, rear cover orange with printed list of available titles, twelve pages printed on one side only, 4 inches square. Front cover absent, strip of chambray fabric stitched on to replace spine, rear cover edgeworn and soiled, name and a later note - circa 1830 (we disagree and believe 1820s based on our research) - below, some penmanship practice on the final blank page, no other markings, pages generally good with only some minor areas of age-darkening.. Soft Cover. Fair. 24mo - 5" - 5¾" Tall.
