Illustrated title and 31 plates (17 China, 14 India, all tinted lithographs) plus folding maps of each country. Rebacked preserving much of the original spine, though the original cloth is somewhat browned, partial transfer of a distinct patterned paper to the plain yellow endpapers, occasional spotting, but contents generally very good.
