Bound in black cloth hardcover titled in yellow on front and spine. No jacket (likely issued without a jacket). Pages very good+. Shallow marginal damp stain to top and side of endpapers and last 2 leaves of book, small spot from old sticker on front endpaper, faint soiling to edges, otherwise pages are clean and fine. Cover very good. Faint staining along top and thumb edge of rear board, yellow titles faded but still readable. Binding and hinges firm, intact and straight.. Contains author's Introduction; 37 major magazine articles on country, western and gospel music since 1904; a section on country music shows since 1924; nearly 200 pages of brief biographies of singers, musicians and comedians in the genre, as well as a list of names. 5-3/4 x 8-3/4". vi + 380 pages. "Tell all who have an interest in Country, Western and Gospel Music!". First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo.
