Near Fine Condition/Very Good. b/w. frontis illustration (Landing of St. Edmund at Hunstanton); preface; contents; list of illustrations; With thirteen illustrations & a fold-out pedigree showing the relationship to each other of the persons interested successively in the patents & leases granted by the crown in respect of the Hunstanton lighthouse; starting with the traditions & early history, this book charts the progression of the four patents, the crown lease & the changing ownerships from 1664 through the following 257 years of its life. The three appendices at the rear list the names of the signatories to the various petitions for patents. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. ix + 65. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Slight foxing front/rear pages, but body of book mostly clean and unfoxed. some wear to top edge, now in archive acetate film protection. Dust Jacket un-clipped.
