London: T. Osborne and J. Shipton, 1756. 2nd Edition . Good Plus. 11 x 15.5 inches (27.5 x 41 cm). Later quarter calf binding with brown buckram boards. Spine has six raised bands and morocco title label. Volume I only of the two volume set, and lacking all plates except the frontis. Title page has significant loss to edges and to lower left corner with some loss of text. Page has been laid down on a new sheet when rebound. Light damp stain to upper corner of front boards and light water marking to upper corner of some pages. Text has scattered marking and patches of foxing. Browning to some pages, text is complete. A good solid example although without the illustrations. Overall condition is Good Plus.
