Chicago; (1946): The Westerners. First Edition. Octavo. 151pp., (3)pp, (4)pp. index. The first Westerners Publication with a list of its illustrious membership including Wright Howes, Everett Graff (who also has an important article on the rarest Western travel narratives), and the historians who wrote the classics on Western Americana (especially his tale of how Mrs. Wright Howes and he had played a joke on Wright Howes on the very rare 1843 Joseph Wlliams pamphlet. Printed and bound by John F. Cuneo Co. in gray cloth centrally stamped in gilt with their logo a steer with lettering gilt, spine lettering gilt. A very nice copy.
