Endpapers contain a two-page spread of a Map of Rutherford County in 1783. Occasionally illustrated with photographic plates in black and white throughout. Frontispiece is a black and white photograph of the Rutherford County Court House, Rutherfordton, North Carolina, completed in 1926. Leaves have evenly toned and bear very little foxing, (predominantly within introductory pages). Back hinge is weakening, yet both boards remain well attached and binding is sound.
