A definitive early history of photography. A tight, very good plus to near fine copy with a small ink mark on front free endpaper, speckled tops of pages, ownership mark and store sticker on front pastedown. Otherwise fine with minimal wear. Jacket is very good minus, quite attractive, with a closed tear to rear panel (barely visible under mylar) and some small chips to edges. A very nice copy, quite scarce in jacket.
