Milner and Company, London, 1856. Edition Unstated. Hardcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Very small volume in purple blind printed cloth, traces of gilt and black decoration to spine. This volume is undated, the preface is dated as 1856. The binding is skewed, the cloth is split on the rear hinge and on the lower third of the front hinge, covers are darkened with worn corners. The front inner hinge is cracked, the rear joint is split with the cover attached by the webbing, the spine has been glued at some time. Previous owner's name on front and on frontis, pages are a little darkened. Frontis plate of the Battle of Inkermann, title with vignette of Storming of the Malakoff and plain title.
