Octavo; G+/G; Light green spine with black text; 4 volumes: 1 - The Defensive, 2 - The Period of Balance, 3 - The Offensive, 1st June 1943-31st May 1944 (part one) and 3 - The Offensive, 1st June 1944-14th August 1945 (part two); Dust jackets are covered with mylar and have slightly sunned exteriors with light foxing on spines some smudges rear of vols. 1 & 3, and price clipped front flaps, otherwise they are intact; Cloths have slightly bowed panels on vols. 1 & 2, all have lightly sunned exteriors with clean and sturdy panels; Text blocks show some wear and light age toning on exterior edges with light foxing on first & last few pages and lightly towards middle of text in vols. 2 & 3, and errata slip tipped in to vols. 3 and 3, Part 2, however bindings are tight and secure; pp 2102.
