Illustrated in black and white plus double page map, contains a large number of brief biographical profiles of prominent citizens plus genealogical information. Worn but sound copy in brown cloth with gilt spine lettering, 578 pages. Wear to extremities, especially spine ends, rear hinge internally reglued and secure, text block sound, short closed tear to page 433/434 with no loss of text, a few pencil lines and added notes, pages a bit age-toned but clean with some occasional shadows from storage of old newspaper clippings, name and date in pencil at top of front free endpaper. Receipt for 1898 Richmond taxes ($1.80 for the year) laid on loosely at the front.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
