There are some marks which appear nowhere else, and, like Bluebears's key, defy being removed. Not quite foxing, but etiology unknown. The book is otherwise in excellent shape. This volume details the story of the preservation and restoration of Admiral Nelson's flag ship HMS Victory, which has never been decommissioned. The book is filled with photos of the work, and tables of statistics. John McKay's drawings supplement the photography. Restoring Victory has been a 200+ year labor of love.. First American Edition.
