Undated. 4 stanzas of 8 lines, on both sides of one leaf 7 x 4 inches, in good condition. Julia Pardoe (1806-62), author of The City of the Sultan and Domestic Manners of the Turks (1837). Oh! think not she was happy / Her crime had paid its price. / She shrank before his calm still tone / Before his look of ice.
