Description:
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin: William MacKenzie, 1900. No dust jacket. Hardcover. This book was not published in 1900. It does not have a publication date. Five-volume set. Boards are extremely grubby, worn and faded, and appear to have considerable water damage. Volumes smell rather musty. Spine, spine edges and ends are very worn and frayed, and there are two noticeable tears to the spine of Volume III. Leading corners are very worn, frayed and bent, with some fabric loss. Page blocks are sunned and grubby. Pastedowns and endpapers have red staining caused by water damage. Pages are rather faded, with intermittent age-spotting and fading. Binding is loose at one or two points but is otherwise sound. Text and illustrations remain clear. AF. Hardcover. Acceptable/No Dust Jacket. Used.
