London: Ward, Lock & Bowden Ltd,. 395pp Engraved frontis and several further plates. Integral illustrations and cartoons on almost every page. Quarter bound in maroon morocco with gilt titles to spine; maroon boards. Gilt to top edge. Leather is worn to top and tail of spine and there are some small areas of loss. External split an inch and half in length to front hinge. Internally split to both endpaper hinges though boards are still fairly firmly attached. Some foxing to prelims and frontis tissue guard. Some surface rubbing and marks to boards. Internally very good. Good+ copy. . Hardcover.
