London: Michael Joseph, 1952. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Some foxing to the page edges otherwise a near fine copy in a VG (or better) D/W with minor wear to the tip and tail of the spine and the extremities. With the very scarce blue and black BBC wrap-around band advertising Michael Redgrave as Hornblower in the new serial which is a little foxed.
