Philadelphia: John E. Potter, 1864. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 384pp. Brown stamped cloth, spine lettering and decorations in gilt. Chipping to spine ends and corners, light insecting to joints, contents are age-toned and occasionally foxed, binding is tight, newspaper clippings pinned to rear endpaper, owner's name in pencil on front endpaper, title page corner chipped. Numerous engraved illustrations.
