Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 1st edition, 1st printing. 256, [4]pp, with colour plate frontispiece (showing the heads, legs and combs of the most popular breeds of poultry) and 32 further monochrome plates. In burnt umber cloth-covered boards with black titles front and spine. 12mo. Cloth a little worn and rubbed, especially on corners and spine ends, a few mild marks, backstrip a little sunned. Some faint and occasional foxing on first and last few pages, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. All about poultry-keeping, housing, hatching, management, breeding, preserving and selling eggs - includes Bantums, Ducks, Chickens, Geese, Turkeys, Guinea Fowl etc.
