Original white card covers with light blue pictorial dustjacket with illustration of girl with wild animals, and black and white lettering. This is the January, 1963, 2nd printing. "The Kindness Club" was an children's organization started in Fredericton, New Brunswick, by Mrs. Hugh John Flemming (Aida) to prevent cruelty to animals. She convinced Dr. Albert Schweitzer to be "Honourary President", and a message from him appears in the front of the book. Scarce. 184 pp. .
