The World's Work Ltd, 1950. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1950. Fourth Impression. 325 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over blue cloth boards with gilt lettering. Slight crinkling to paper at gutter. Clean pages with light tanning to text block edges. Binding is firm throughout with minor thumb-marking. Heavier tanning to free endpapers. Pen and pencil inscription and markings to front free endpaper. Pen annotations and marginalia to pages throughout. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Slight crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Minor wear marks to boards. Clipped jacket. Dust jacket has heavy edgewear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Front panel detached from spine. Heavy loss to spine. Heavy tanning to interior dust jacket.


First published in 1953, the advice that Dale Carnegie gives in this book is basic common sense, but it is combined with case studies, historical examples, and interview with business executives.
