Published by the author. Fair with no dust jacket. 1859. Hardcover. Hard cover published in 1859 by the author. Brown covers with tooling around the edges and gilt lettering in middle of front and a tooled design in middle of back. Spine is faded, worn and torn with fraying at top, and some wrinkling at bottom. Covers are faded some and have some small stains. Corners of covers are bumped and worn. Inside front cover has a presentation inscription, reading in part "With kind regards of the author", but does not have a signature. One upper page corner has been creased. Some pages have foxing and some have some stains. Book has 64 plates. .
